Happy first day of October! During each week of October I am doing a new Halloween inspired look.
Spooky season is my favorite and I start gearing up for the season right after the Fourth of July. Yes I know that sounds absolutely insan.e. But so many things events and activities during this season and I like to make sure every is in full power.
I am not going to be breaking down each of the looks to a full tutorial. That would be great but when your in Halloween creativity mode something’s things don’t go as planned or products are not available.
this Halloween book was inspired by the 1936s Dracula’s daughter movie. This movie was produced by universal pee pictures as a sequel to the 1931 film Dracula. I love the universal monsters and they’re my favorite Halloween Horror. Last year I did a take on the creature from the Black Lagoon because it is my favorite universal monster.
Countess Marya Zaleska is the daughter to the one and only Dracula. I can’t say how far she is up on my list of Universal monsters but I really do enjoy this movie. Maybe that’s a list that I should come out with for you what do universal monsters make myMaybe that’s a list that I should come out with for you of what universal monsters make my cut and what order.
let’s talk a little bit about the look.
Ever since I did that gray eye look tutorial I’ve been obsessed with it. I do it anytime I can, date night, or even going out with friends. So that’s the lookI went with. In the movie, since it’s the 30s they have really light make up so I didn’t want to go heavy on it. I used the beauty bakery palette that I like with the gray shade and also I use the red shade in the pallet as the lip color. I went with lashes that were still dramatic but were still light.
When you do something that is different and fun it makes you feel different. I was doing the photos with hype music and changed the feel. Cue the Nelly Furtado Maneater song.
