Valentines #3

While I was on vacation in Oklahoma in December I had major inspiration and usually, that happens when I’m on a blog break. But that’s where I came up with the idea of doing these valentine’s looks and doing this queen of hearts headband. I have been so inspired by doing all these fun and creative headbands and I knew that I wanted to do one for Valentine. So my mom and I went to the dollar tree and we picked out all the things and brainstormed on what I really wanted the design to look like. And I love the way it came together.

For today’s look, we’re just using one eye shadow. The darker Crimson shade of the eyeshadow palette is what the whole lid shade is. To make it richer and pigmented I mixed it in my little mixing cup with a couple sprays of makeup setting spray. Adding a setting spray and mixing it into your eyeshadow will add more pigmentation and of course, will last longer.

Since the shadow was a little wetter it was easier to make a shape for the eyes. I added some glitter hearts onto my lids to have as a stencil. It was easy to apply the crimson shade over the glitter pieces for the look.

I had so much fun creating all the Valentines look for you and I hope you enjoyed them. I’m ready to drive back into other content for you and next week we are reviewing some products from the new Elf line.
