Finally Trying Honest Beauty | Cruelty Free

I have been wanting to do this post for a while but I wanted to make sure I tested everything out and had a good feel of each product. Honest Beauty is a brand by Jessica Alba. It is a cruelty free and clean brand. Lately I have been trying to add more and more cruelty free products in my life. Which for me that doesn’t just mean in cosmetics. If you would be interested in hearing how I am importing new lifestyle ways into my own home leave a comment. It would be a lot of fun to show you some things that I have changed. But we are here to talk about Honest Beauty so without any more rambling let’s talk about it,

We are gonna start with the Lit Blush the one I have is in shade Flirty. It’s such a gorgeous color and gives your cheeks the most natural healthy color. You can also layer it up if you want a more brighter look.The lasting quality is there and I know I will be getting a couple more shade to try out in the future.

Beauty Balm This product really surprised me of how nourishing it is. The packaging is wonderful. It is one of the first things I put on in the morning. I did pick this up in hopes it would feed my need of the Tower 28 highlighter balm. And I have used it a few times as a light natural highlighter it gives that great dewy texture but if you get too much product it can look greasy quickly. But it is so nourishing and hydrating I dont stop using it throughout the day.

This is the cream foundation in shade camel. I wasn’t fan of this product. I couldn’t get to blend nicely and it was even a hassle to get the product out of the pan. In the picture below you can see how it started to get a weird bubble texture to the product and smear. When I did get the foundation onto my skin, it was okay. This is something I won’t repurchase.

Tinted Lip Balm this is something I was not going to pick up. But my husband picked two up when he was at the store, I am so glad he did. I got Fruit Punch and Summer Melon. I love them so much and I want them all. The formula is so smooth and feels so great on the lips. They are infused with avocado oil and pomegranate oils. I have used tinted lip balms in the past and only a slight color happens but these are very pigmented for tinted lips. My favorite is the fruit punch i love the color. It looks like my natural lip color but enhanced.

This was one of the last items I tried. The packaging is what got me. I’m such a sucker for amazing packaging. Good job Jessica Alba. This is a dual ended mascara and primer. How great is that! I love a dark mascara and I felt like I had seen them all but hello! This is so dark and it builds my lashes to the roof. The wand is great too, everything about this mascara is perfect.

Something I would love to see from this brand is to have the blushes to be refillable I love that idea. And I want more colors for the mascara maybe a rich brown and some fun colors.

Wow! Everything else besides that cream foundation was amazing and I will be repurchasing so much and adding so more of their products to my collection. Have you tried anything from this brand? If so let me know in the comments below I want to know what you tried and what you are loving?
