I really wanted to make this blogmas time not about me. We talk all year long about what I am loving and what is working best for me. This year for blogmas I am going to share with you creators from all range of creativity that really show love and inspire others. Right now I just feel we need that. The smile, the happiness and to spread cheer from one another. Now lets begin with day three,
Today we are saying hello to Crystal | Adventures in play
Crystal is an early childhood educator. I have even had the chance to work in the same school and department as her in the past.
Crystal works closely with children to explore and investigate objects and environments.
She also teaches children and parents that play isn’t just about having fun, it is also a learning process.
This image above was done with oil and marbles. It’s so gorgeous. This could be done as a process art project or an science investigation.
During the year Crystal has been showing ideas of projects you and your little one or even just you can do at home. And a glimpse inside her classroom that brings the environment of loose parts. Her love of loose parts is unreal. If you don’t know what loose parts are, they can be anything that can be collected to be used as open play. So those things could be lids, buttons, bolts, pinecones. As long as it can teach sensory play, building, problem solving or storytelling you got it.
