I wanted to make this blogmas series, not about me. We talk all year long about what I am loving and what is working best for me. This year for blogmas I am going to share with you creators from all ranges of creativity that show love and inspire others. Right now I just feel we need that. The smile, the happiness and to spread cheer from one another. Now let us begin with day one,
Today we are saying hello to Sydney | Diary of a beauty guru wannabe. We can’t go down the countdown without Sydney.
I have been supporting Sydney for some time. I love the way she reuses what is in her collection. She also has a YouTube channel that she can show more in-depth about her technique.
In the photos I chose you can see she loves color and she inspires me to branch outside the nudes and let the brighter colors have a shine too. I have learned a lot from her and I think you can too.
Sydney loves to see a pallet that is just launching and the color collection is interesting but maybe she’s not gonna buy it. So she uses what she has in her palette collection to develop the color scheme and it always comes together so beautifully. It might not be that same dupe, it might not be the same formula but she still has that color scheme and she has the eye to see all of that just play together and she shows you what she could make with it.
Her creativity just shines! There isn’t many creators out there that are showing what they have and aren’t afraid to reuse. It is totally fine to use and use what you already have.
I’m not saying Sydney doesn’t love a good buy but recently I loved watching her duping the kylie cosmetics the Grinch palette. I really wanted to snag that palette but I have learned from Sydney that I probably have those colors already. And now I have the skills to see how easy it is to piece together my own. And we talk all the time about hey do you think you will get the new palette from so and so?? She has so many great ideas and we have talked about doing a Collab together. I would love her to be a spotlight creator for a post to share something with you. What do you think??
