Haul and Review | ColourPop | * GIVEAWAY CLOSED*

Hi loves,

I got the opportunity to pick up a few things at Ulta just for trying purposes. I wanted to only get things from one brand and really see how products worked out for me. So I got some things from Colourpop. I can’t believe I haven’t got anything from Colourpop before. They have been around for awhile and are a good quality brand. So let’s talk about it,

The first thing I knew that I had to have was a eyeshadow palette. I have always heard such amazing things about their eyeshadows. The one that I really wanted wasn’t offered (Going Coconuts) at Ulta but I had done my research and knew the other palette I wanted was California Love. The colors in this palette are gorgeous. It makes me really want warmer weather. And for those that live in colder places I cheers to you. Having a Arizona winter is nothing compared to “real” winter.

The Bay (neutral warm brown)

Lil Cuckoo Liquid Lip Duo Shades Slide & UR a Hoot – I got this liquid lip duo and I loved the colors in the store but the lighting inside the store played tricks babe. The color Slide looked like a mute pink and was right up my ally but the color is so bright isn’t gonna work for my skin tone. Now the other one Ur A Hoot has became my favorite gloss. It’s a little tacky and has scent of vanilla. It’s a perfect everyday natural lip color and you can just throw it in your bag and your good to go.

Blur Lux Lipstick Shade – Lucky Strike The color is perfect for my skin tone. The formula is really silky and a soft texture. I even read that this shade is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk.

Brow Boss Gel – This is a good brow gel,I picked up the color dark brown but I think I could have even gotten black and got away with it. The formula is great and works well. Its buildable but ekk it smears easily at first application. I’m not sure if I would repurchase but it was worth the try.

BFF Mascara – I was so excited for this mascara. I had heard such great things about the BFF mascara. The black is dark and I love that the brush is a nylon fiber hourglass shape and gives volume. It is buildable like they claim but its clumps very easily. Now the plum shade seemed like it was dried out as soon as I opened it. Ekk it flaked liked a friend not a bestie. I wanna try other colors but the plum isn’t worth your money.

I didn’t get everything that I was eyeing but I did somethings that I had been wondering about. In the future I want to pick up a blush for sure and the brow pencil. What are thoughts on Colourpop? Do you purchase from them? If so what are you loving and what should I get next?
